| The 1974 Pontiac Trans Am is the right color for a sleeper, it has the right engine, a 400, the right transmission, a 4 Speed on the Floor, a decent interior, and is ready for lightning fast enjoyment. Is it perfect? No. There are some small flaws that we detected, but this car screams GO FAST! The mechanicals on this car are excellent, with power steering, factory power brakes, everything works, tach, speedo, gauge package, lights, all of it. The exhaust sounds great as the tach dances in front of you. The engine in the car is a correct 400 and it has been added to with a Mild Cam, a larger intake manifold, and a larger carburetor. This car is matching numbers, a 4 speed, and it is ready to be taken out and enjoyed right now. Whatever way you look at this car she begs you to driver her hard. The interior is good, not perfect, but good. The front and back seats are in good shape along with the rest of the car, including the dash, steering wheel, headliner, and carpets. Everything looks good as well, the rugs, steering wheel, headliner, and especially the super cool dash is in great condition, overall the interior is in really good shape. This car is ready to enjoy, simply get in and drive. The underside of this car is also in good condition. There are a couple of spots on the rear rockers on the drivers side and in the trunk, but with a minor amount of body work you have an unbelievable car. There are a couple of bubbling spots and some nicks and nats, but bottom line is that the car is solid. Take a detailed look at the pictures, they tell the tale. Most of the work is piddly stuff that is an easy fix today, tomorrow, or in the future. This car is a 1974 Trans Am and decodes as one. The lousy looking 74 nose is gone and has been replaced by the really good looking 1975 nose. We know that the 1975 nose is good but the car was crappy, now you have the best of both and this work is already done for you!
