This 1923 Ford T - Bucket (titled as 77 Kit Car) is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The T -bucket has been at the heart of the hot rod scene since its inion almost 100 years ago. A major hit in California they gradually would make their way to the east coast but it would not be until 1957 when the first fiberglass body would be manufactured did the Bucket really take off. Ofcourse the whole idea of a bucket was to put the biggest motor in the smallest car. This bucket has a stout small block with a displacement of 350 Cubic Inches the motor fills the frame rails nicely. The engine was treated to a set of 194 heads which gave the small block a much better feel. The Comp cam is big enough to give it a great low and mean lope when idling, but really hums in the higher RPM range. Feeding all that muscle fuel is an Edelbrock 600 CFM four barrel carburetor which not only is functional but looks great while doing it. The polished keg that sets behind the driver has actually been repurposed and now carries the fuel. Transferring all that power to the rear wheels is the classic TH400 while the B&M shift kit makes up shifts a lot firmer. The wheels on this bucket are original American Racing 12 spoke wheels which are made from true Magnesium. The rear are 12" polished aluminum Mags which this set up was very common and used on your early sixty gasser setups. With the interior finished in the classic 60s velour material and the steering wheel sticking straight up it is a true reminder of how these T buckets were originally built. Options on this 1923 T bucket include; Cloth Interior, and Aluminum Wheels Wrapped in Radial Tires.
