 Vehicle Description
Are you looking for a well-preserved classic? MotoeXotica is offering a great looking 1947 Pontiac Streamline 4 door sedan. This is a great driving classic that is very nice both inside and out. It runs and drives great and is sure to impress all that are fortunate enough to see her. The exterior is in very good original condition. The black paint looks great. It does have a couple of chips and some minor orange peel. The chrome has a fantastic shine to it and only shows very minor pitting and scratches. The chrome trim around the car is equally as nice. The wheels are in good shape with hubcaps that are all in great condition. The chrome dog dish hubcaps all look nice and have a couple of very small dings. They are wrapped with 6.00-16 tires with lots of tread life left. In the very clean and carpeted trunk there is a full size spare and jack. All of the glass looks good. There is a crack in the drivers side rear window. The tan interior is all very nice. The front and rear cloth bench seats both look excellent with a small stain on the front seat. The back seat is in very good shape. The carpets are good. The gauges are all in good working order except for the clock. The lights, blinkers and vacuum wipers also work. The dash contains the original AM radio and has some minor staining, but no cracks. All of the cloth door panels look really good. The head liner looks newer with no stains or rips. There is a couple of cracks in the steering wheel, but it does not affect performance. The motor has plenty of grunt and power to make this sedan move down the road at highway speeds. The engine is a 239 Cu In inline 6 cylinder that runs strong. It is attached to a "3 on the tree" 3 speed manual transmission with shifter on the column. Included with this car is the original invoice dated 11-7-1947 for $1,897.00 and many receipts for parts and maintenance totaling more than $9,100.00. The car is being sold on a mileage exempt Missouri title and we suspect the mileage to be true but have no documentation to say so. Mileage shows 48,235 and the VIN is W6MA1076. GET OUT AND DRIVE!
