Summary, I have bought and restored over 60 Model T and Model A Fords I bought this one a few years back but have been over whelmed with other projects so need to let a few go for a good fair price to someone who will take care of these great cars

This car started and drove well at 40 MPH It has a good engine, starter, body and tires transmission. It did not shimmy. I replaced the original ignition with the improved Ford 289 V-8 point upgrade and new coil. I ran it a year ago, put it in storage while I finished other cars. Car has a VERY good body engine and transmission. Tires are the old expensive wide white walls. Tires are old but OK.

Body is very good. Chrome radiator and headlights are very good. Front bumper chrome good. Rear bumper chrome tarnished should clean up

New 6 volt battery

The car has the interior seats but will need all of the interior redone some roof ribs and top are missing will need a A roof kit from Snyders or Langs The top front wood piece above the drivers front window needs replaced. Go online search "Model A parts suppliers" for prices

The interior seats redone recovered (springs are there with tattered fabric)

Side panels, door handles etc. 2 are there rest need redone

some defects on paint

major repair needed will be replacing the top front roof wood piece and then the wood trim surrounding the roof opening. These pieces can be made or purchased

The roof kits complete and interior complete kits are available from Langs and Snyders along with many other suppliers

What i like about the Model A and Model T cars after working on MANY old Fords, Chevys Kaisers, Pontiac''s from the 40''s and 50''s are that parts are readily available, cheap in 2 days. There are MANY clubs and forums to assist you in repairs.

I do sell cars on time with a deposit, I hold the car INSURED with you making small payments each month to hold the car. If you decide you do not want it, you have the opportunity to sell it and keep 80 percent of the profit over what you agreed to pay for the car.

I can help on restoration with advice, parts advice, etc. There is a big local Model A club here in South Bend Mishawaka for tours and help. All parts are available for repairs and restoration at very reasonable prices form many suppliers in a few days. These are cars that can be kept running because the support for parts and repairs are right these unlike so many other older car makes.
