1976 Buick Estate Wagons in six passenger configuration are extremely rare, almost non existant, in just about any condition. Number one reason being is that most were destroyed in demolition derbies they were THE car to have for their gargantuan size, not to mention weight, well over 5,000 lbs.
Buick produced two and half times as many of the nine passenger wagons than these. Some people I have spoken with are under the wrong impression that the nine passenger wagons are the rarer model but Buicks production figures speak clearly for themselves.
GM produced for the 76 model year 14,384 nine passeger wagons, and only 5,990 six passenger, this one having a nice amount of options and not that very often kept original owner factory paperwork, which will include the ORIGINAL window sticker along with a laminated color copy of the same to preserve the original, and much more additional paperwork as well.
Found at the first Carlisle,PA All GM National in August 2000 mileage at purchase was approx 68,500 currently has 70K. Extremely well kept split bench 60/40 deluxe interior which alone was a 295.00 option. Car window stickered with freight at $7,781.00
