Beautiful 1972 Cougar XR-7 convertible. If you want a rare early 70's drop top, this is it. Only 1929 Cougar XR-7 convertibles were made in 1972. This is one of the rarest of all as it has the 351C, high output Q code engine. About 15% of Cougars came with a 4V carb in 72 and this one is even rarer as it has the Autolite 4300-D, 715 CFM, carb. Most of the 4V carbs in 72 were the basic 4300. It's one of the last of the muscle era cars and is a go fast car if you want it to. The car has 91K original miles. Triple white with one repaint and top. Rebuilt C-6 tranny along with rebuilt steering and coolant pumps. Everything works including the a/c. No rust. I purchased it from the first owner in 1978 and have owned it since. Always adult owned and driven. Vehicle is the same as it left the factory and is all original including the interior, trunk and engine compartment. Never wrecked. Runs and drives excellent. A true survivor with an asking price of $19,500. For more info and photos, please call 303-798-9660.
