I have a nice 1972 Ford Ranchero 500 with a 351 in good running condition. Automatic transmission/column shifter. Drives well, good body except for right front quarter panel ding as shown. Interior needs some work. Passenger seats were replaced with recarro style with full body harness. I picked this about last fall with intent to do interior work but you know how it goes. I did replace the starter and new wiring along with a new 950A battery. Odometer says 42680. It does work but I can''t be certain it''s true.
The odd bird here is that the hood is GT and the dash plate also says GT. I can understand swapping the 500 hood for the GT hood but who changes the dash? Furthermore the engine looks larger than the 351 and I suspect it''s actually a 429. Will post more interior photos this weekend (4/4/14)
Wheels are classic mags with oversize tires as shown. Rear tires are extra-wide, 255/60 R15. Available for view/test drive on weekends. Here are the details from the VIN: 2A47H119402
