| Vehicle Description |
In 1968, Plymouth introduced the Road Runner. Using Warner Brothers likeness of the Road Runner cartoon character, the engineers at Plymouth set out to build an affordable yet powerful car. The engineers beefed up and improved everything that was essential to performance and handling, and left all the nonessential out. When the Plymouth Road runner appeared on the American Muscle car scene it was rumored that Plymouth intended to sell only 2,000 of them; they ended up selling over 45,000!
This particular Road Runners VIN decodes to the standard yet classic base Road Runner which featured the 383 CID (6.3 L) V8 rated at 335 HP and 425 lb-ft of torque. With immense torque and a lot of horsepower this is everything youd want an American muscle car to be! The Road Runner performs extremely well in the quarter mile as well, early tests of this car put it at 14 seconds to accomplish the quarter mile.
The frame of this car is based off the Chrysler B platform which is the same of as the Belvedere, Satellite, and GTX. The quality of the Orange paint is in very good condition overall, although upon close inspection there is some orange peel in some areas. The car retains all the the Road Runner branding and logos.
We have seen many Road Runners that have fetched well over $100,000! Dont miss your chance to own this fabulous "driver" Road Runner for $29,900!
