This car has been garaged it's whole life. I have it in storage in Utah. I am the car's third owner. The original owner bought it new, then immediately wrapped the carpet and arm-rests in plastic. Original carpet and door arm-rests are still like BRAND NEW - and still under the plastic!
The radio works, and the engine is as strong as they come. Seats are in PRIMO condition and I still have three of the original floor mats that came with the car (they were plastic, so they are a little dried out and brittle). This is one of the tightest cars I have ever driven or owned.
I have all of the first owner's service records, original invoice, window sticker, etc. All of the cool little goodies that a collector would love.
Now the little things: the heater does not work but I have a new heater core in the trunk - I just haven't taken time to install it. The car comes with two engine hoods. At the moment it has a GT style scoop hood, which I think makes it look AWESOME. However, if you are an original enthusiast, I have the original hood in storage - it comes with the car.
The center console arm-rest has a couple of cracks. However, it still looks OK and works as it should.
The car was repainted by the last owner, and he only had the outside metal repainted. It looks great! The company matched the paint perfectly, and you can't tell a difference between the sheet metal paint and the original paint from the door sills.
Why am i selling this? I originally purchased it because this was the first car my dad ever owned and I thought it would be cool to have something like it when he came to visit. However, it's been driven twice since I've owned it and frankly, I'm trying to downsize my auto collection.
I am asking $10,000 for the car.
Transportation of vehicle will need to be provided by you, unless you live in Utah.
