1950 LINCOLN EL-SERIES w/Suicide Doors Orig Cond

My MAGNIFICENT rare 1950 Lincoln EL-Series (only 8332 produced)has been enjoyed by only three caretakers in her history; she currently is in a climate-controlled garage awaiting her escape from dormancy.

This beautiful rare car has undergone a RESTORATION of the following : Recent two tone paint in ORIGINAL FACTORY COLORS (NASSAU BEIGE & CARLSBAD TAN) and specifications; NO blemishes, NO rust, NO bubbles, NO PROBLEMS! She has a recent FUEL TANK, SENDING UNIT, & FILTERS. I always fuel up with "LEAD ADDITIVE" with premium fuel and add "ZINC" ADDITIVE to oil. She has recent brakes, "COKER" FAT WHITEWALL TIRES, and recent alignment. Her beautiful bumpers have been RE CHROMED, the aluminum & chrome "side spears" have been refurbished, refurbished chrome window trim surround & rubber. The majestic HOOD ORNAMENT looks like NEW, as does the CHROME GAS FILLER GUARD. The front vent window winglets and small keyhole covers on the door locks work well, and the trunk opens with no problems. Her CARPETING was recently upgraded and the HEADLINER SHOWS LIKE NEW as factory specs; the recently installed OEM FABRIC SEAT COVERING looks LIKE NEW, as does the WINDOW CRANKS, DOOR HANDLES, and that SO BEAUTIFUL "SUNBURST" ART DECO LIGHTING! Her steering wheel does not show abuse, has NO CRACKS, NO PITTING, NO DEFECTS.

She drives down the road in typical 1950s luxury with NO LEAKS, NO SHAKING, NO SMOKE, NO RATTLES...her stout 337 CUBIC INCH ORIGINAL "FLAT HEAD" motor had a recent tuneup and is smooth as silk. Her very unique "FRENCHED" CHROME HEADLIGHT SURROUND was only used for 3 years and was the new hit of CALIFORNIA STYLING TRENDS...they have been recently RE CHROMED; the CHROME FRENCHED TAIL LIGHTS are in great original condition.
ALL LIGHTS WORK, WINDSHIELD WIPERS WORK WELL (ORIGINAL SPLIT WINDSHIELD is so so CLASSIC today), GAUGES WORK WELL, WINDOWS GO UP & DOWN AS THEY SHOULD, NO CRACKS OR FOGGING IN GLASS. THE "THREE PIECE" IS A UNIQUE CLASSIC ORIGINAL.

Her beautiful INTERIOR DOOR PANELS look fantastic; the ALUMINUM and BLACK DOOR SILLS ARE IN GREAT SHAPE WITH NO MARKS OR DINGS. The center ARMREST works great, as does the "ROPE" HANDLES on the rear of the front seat...the little ASHTRAY and CIGAR LIGHTER are still there, the heater & defroster work well...when you open the SUICIDE DOORS everyone gasps and admires her uniqueness.

My wife and I only take her out on weekends to the VINEYARDS, CAR SHOWS, and FAMILY AFFAIRS...We have been to over two dozen CAR SHOWS, and we never saw another EL-SERIES, much less one in such FINE SHAPE...she is not a CONCOURS, but we consistently won "BEST of SHOW", "BEST of CLASS" and "PEOPLE''S CHOICE" AWARDS as recently as this past summer. This SHOW STOPPER is appreciated by enthusiast in the know, and admired by everyone who swoons over her.
