DESCRIPTION

1933 Ford 2 Door Sedan Street Rod
350/330 HP, Automatic

RECENT AUCTIONEERS ESTIMATE: $75,000 - $90,000

Understated elegance is a term not normally used in describing a full-bore street rod, but it certainly applies in the case of this handsome 1933 Ford Sedan. It uses a touring body by Redneck Street Rods, makers of the Rolls Royce of fiberglass bodies, with a 2 5/8-inch chop, ribbed roof, one-off chrome plated aluminum grille insert and custom three-piece steel engine cover panels by Hagen Street Rods. Also fitted with OTBs traditional-style hot rod headlights, Lincoln-Zephyr taillights and a custom billet aluminum windshield frame, the body is artfully finished in PPG Cadillac Antique Bronze paint. The color theme is completed inside with custom Chocolate Ultraleather upholstery stitched by Krist Kustoms. Complementing their fine work are a padded-rim banjo-style billet aluminum steering wheel on a chromed tilt Ididit column, one-off Classic Instruments gauges, a Pioneer sound system, Vintage Air climate control, power windows and keyless entry. The car is built on a chassis fabricated by Pete and Jakes Hot Rod Parts that was powder-coated to match the body color and fitted with Alden chrome front and rear coilovers and Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes. The finishing visual touch is by way of staggered-diameter Blackwall radial tires on Budnik aluminum wheels with unique Black ceramic-coated centers and polished rims. A 350 CI GM Performance crate engine provides the motive power. With mandrel-bent tig welded dual exhaust and Flowmaster Hushpower mufflers setting the tone, it delivers 330 HP through a Lokar-shifted TCI 700R4 transmission to a 3.70:1-geared Ford 9-inch rear end via a strong but lightweight Dynatech aluminum driveshaft. This tasteful Tudor comes with build documentation and receipts and digital photographs documenting the build.
