| Vehicle Description |
| I am the 3rd owner of this 1955 Black and White Buick Special. It currently has 45,250 miles on it. I have owned the car since March 1986, at which time it had 39,000 miles on it. It was used as a background vehicle in the 1989 movie "Goodfellas", and was featured on the cover of the Buick Club of America monthly publication, the "Buick Bugle". This vehicle has not been restored. It is ALL original, including paint, interior, engine, chrome, etc. It has automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, AM radio, and a red line speedometer. It has the original size "Group 60" battery. In 1992 I put four new tires on it, with the correct, original size white walls. The original spare tire is in the trunk. Since I have owned the vehicle, it has never been rained on! The car is always garaged. I drive and run the car for only a few miles, every 2-3 weeks. It is no doubt a real eye catcher. I have not seen many, if any, ORIGINAL vehicles that compares to my 1955 Buick. |
