This car is in exceptional condition inside and out. This particular 1974 Bricklin SV-1 is production number 430, of a total 780 units built during that year. With only 5,143 miles of use the car performs as new with its AMC 360 cid engine coupled to its Chrysler 727 automatic transmission. The car has been stored in the winter and used sparingly in good weather; in fact the owner never even drives it in the rain if possible. The Bricklin SV-1 was the only production vehicle in automotive history to have powered gull-wing doors, that opened and closed at the touch of a button, as standard equipment; these still operate as they were designed. The car has AC, PW, PS, PB, it has its factory radio and a clock (not working). The pictures taken under the hood show a very clean engine compartment that has been looked after and well cared for. The pictures of the undercarriage show that the car is clean, rust free and solid. The only mechanical change since registration was the addition of a premium ViAir air compressor to provide energy to the air operated gullwing doors. All other components are as original equipment. The original Certificate of Birth from Bricklin is also included, along with the service manual and complete wiring diagrams. Also , copies of inspection receipts are available as far back as 1996 which reflects a mileage reading of 1327 at that time.
