This is a spectacular and rare 1940 Ford Special Deluxe Business Coupe. The Ford Deluxe was produced from 1937 to 1940. Styling was influenced by Edsel Ford and Lincoln Zepher. The borrowed Zepher looks were the oval headlights and the V- shaped grille with vertical bars.
This is an excellent example of a 1940 Ford. The exterior paint on the all steel body is maroon and it is clearly a quality professional paint job. Interior is maroon cloth with a two tone dash. All interior components are in excellent condition.
Engine is the flathead V8 with a 3 speed manual transmission. Options are the heater and clock. Car runs and drives with excellent performance, engine is strong and sound.
This Ford Business Coupe will easily win local show awards. It is in above average condition with no visible flaws. Located in NC.
