This Corvette is truly a time capsule. It has 34,000 miles on it. All of the paint and interior are original. This would make an excellent candidate for a Survivor award through NCRS. I have some of the original sale paperwork including an original brochure, dealer inspection form, emission form that was next to the window sticker, warranty paperwork, battery brochure, tire brochure, etc. Unfortunately, I do not have the window sticker. The car was delivered to a Chevy dealer in Hartsville, TN and remained within 50 miles of that dealership for its entire life.
The interior appears new. Leather, carpet and trim is all in excellent condition. All gauges and lights work with the exception of the clock. The radio and eight track player work well.
The body panels and alignment are excellent condition. All panels are original and there has been no prior damage. The paint is the original 34 year old lacquer paint. It shines well and looks nice from 10 feet. It does have a few spots of minor patina and some nicks. It is a very presentable paint.
Mechanically, the car is in great condition. It runs and drives smooth. It drives straight and stops straight. There are no rattles or noises. The AC is not working right now. The tires have been replaced with Goodyears current version of the original tire. The tires are in excellent condition and appear new. Also it has a new battery, front brake calipers/pads, windshield wiper motor, starter, and cap/rotor.
