1973 PONTIAC GTO . The car has only 42,202 miles. The engine is a 400 cu in (230 HP) and the transmission is a TH-400. It has power steering. The compression ratio on this car is 8:1, runs very well on regular (87 octane) fuel. . It had been repainted Pontiac Regatta Blue in 2004. ( Note: the original factory color was Ascot Silver ) The black interior is in excellent condition as is the black vinyl top. It retains its original working
AM/FM radio w/ rear speakers. There are no cracks in the dash pad, plastic molding or glass. I also have the original owners manual. It has an after- market chrome air cleaner installed however the correct factory air cleaner is in the trunk. . The car cover was custom made by the Flint ( Michigan ) Canvas Shop to fit this car. The spare tire is the same Goodyear G-60 Polyglass that was installed by GMAD Atlanta. . This car has never had any rust in its body or panels. It does have one small dent in the front bumper and a small scratch in the rear bumper. Also, there are a few small paint chips on the car. Regardless, the car has won many ( over 50 ) awards / trophies at car shows throughout mid and upper Michigan, including car shows hosted by the GTO Woodward
. Total GTO production in 1973 was only 4,806. The production number is 494, according to GTO Alleys web site. The car has the bench seat option, not bucket seats, which is rarely seen in GTOs.
