| 1968 Plymouth Hemi Road Runner For Sale in our Chicago Showroom. This 68 Hemi is a 3 owner car, and was originally purchased new from Plymouth dealer in the Elgin, Illinois area. This Road Runner has had 1 repaint twelve years ago, in the factory Medium Green Metallic color, and a new green Alligator vinyl roof top. This car still has the dealer applied Rusty Jones Rust Proofing. The 426 2-4bbl 425 HP HEMI has been professionally rebuilt (blue printed and balanced) and dyno tuned. The 727 Torqueflight transmission has been rebuilt by TSI, and the 2 Carter AFB carburetors were professionally rebuilt also. Other parts rebuilt are starter, alternator, master cylinder, steering box, power steering unit, and water pump. There is a Glen ray factory correct 26" radiator (date coded). The distributor has been updated to electronic ignition, but the original factory correct dual point distributor is included. The wires, plugs, coil, voltage regulator are all date code correct. The brake system is all new; rotors, 4 piston calipers rebuilt, new lines with silicone brake fluid, new rear drums, shoes, hardware, and cylinders. Options on this 68 Road Runner are factory wood steering wheel added, Silver and Black Vinyl interior, Music Master AM radio, tinted glass, power steering, power front disc brakes, fender mounted turn signal indicators, and the Alligator vinyl top. This car still has the factory spare tire. This HEMI Road Runner comes with the Galen Glovier Certification.
