Every once in a while, we get the opportunity to help someone sell a real gem of a Mustang. This is one of them. It's a 1968 Ford Mustang GT Coupe, that is numbers-matching and rotisserie restored, all the way down to the nuts and bolts. The last picture in the slideshow gives you a full VIN decode, so you can see for yourself. It has an S-Code 390 4v V8, big-block C6 automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes. It is painted its original Candyapple Red exterior with Black Crinkle interior, and boy, is that paintjob flawless! It also has Cobra air filter and valve covers to give it a great muscle-car look, a black vinyl top and all the GT striping and branding. The undercarriage is black as pitch, rust-free (but a little dusty--we guess Jack and the boys couldn't resist taking this showroom Mustang out onto the road!). The interior looks great, with just a tiny little wear (as it has lots of restored original pieces, such as the steering wheel pad and dash pad). The engine compartment is simply gorgeous. This is a professionally restored Mustang of high-dollar value and high-value power, and it has been driven a bit--no pampering for this one. If you keep this Mustang in this kind of shape, the value will go nowhere but UP. |
