This 1969 Corvette ZL1 Roadster (Duntov Racer Replica) has under gone a nut and bolt frame off restoration at great expense. Engine is a date correct (1969) super rare ZL1 all aluminium 427 with a M22 4 speed gearbox and a posi rear end, F41 front and rear brake callipers. The corvette was rebuilt using NOS rare parts. The late 1960s race wheels (16" x8" Ansen) are like new and super rare also. It has a soft top and a hard top. The car is a radio delete car. Has a tilt steering column /steering wheel (only creature comfort option it came with). The Corvette comes with several thousand dollars in original parts like - the original complete smog set up (complete), original transistorised distributor complete with spare parts, dual pin callipers, the original 074 heads (Jan 69) , 098 intake (Jan 69) and the original 850 Holley (March 69). The top end of the engine has modern GM performance heads and distributor and Holley to run on 95 octane fuel. Can be switched back if you so wish but would require higher octane fuel. Originally these engines were designed to run on 103 Octane fuel back in 1969. Also have a brand new complete GM power steering set up for the corvette. Have the original date coded rally rims 15" x 8" with NOS in the box centre caps and trim rings. I could go on and on about the parts that come with the rare Corvette. This Corvette is super fast and stops like a modern super car. It is a hand full to drive and not for the faint hearted that''s for sure. You will not be disappointed.
Other Tribute ZL1s are for sale in the US with a asking price of $225k making this one a bargain at $125,000. I am selling this for a friend of mine. The car is in Perth Australia.
