1976 Trans Am with 52k original miles. All numbers matching, original spiral shocks, original cat converter, original Q-jet carb, TH trans, still has single exhaust as per factory, all original body panels and no rust anywhere, and is hands down the smoothest, tightest, best-driving classic I've ever offered for sale. In fact, if you make a deposit on this car, then come see/drive it in person, and don't agree this car drives factory brand new, I will refund your deposit 100% no questions asked! That's how sure I am you will love driving this extremely well maintained T/A.
Features: 400 V8, TH automatic, cold A/C, power steering, power disc brakes, tilt, Formula wheel, restored 15x8 snowflakes in fantastic condition with near new Cooper white letter tires, and deluxe door panels. This car starts first time, every time, with little foot prompting, idles perfect, choke works, shifts smooth as butter every time, and has zero slop in the steering or suspension. It brakes smooth and doesn't pull an inch. Still retains original single exhaust set up with original cat. Has a mellow Flowmaster crossflow muffler and correct original chrome splitter tips. Car runs cool all the time, all the gauges work, as do all the lights, wipers, horn, stereo, etc.
Floors have no rust, and original oxide coating is still visible in places underneath. All frame rails are rock solid with no rust, and there is no rust in the trunk pan. Original posi tag still in place. You simply will not find a more solid, reliable, tight, and smooth driving TA than this. PLEASE come see and drive this car in person. It shows extremely well and is ready to drive and show as is with no other work needed.
Interior is completely original except for the radio and headliner. Dash is perfect with no cracks. Seats show little wear and have no rips or tears. Even the carpet is still in nice shape.
Car was originally sterling silver and was repainted deep metallic red (similar to Firethorn but with more gold undertones), but was done correctly with all jambs painted, fenders and doors removed, and no tape lines. Paint is mirror smooth and shows beautifully, but does have various small chips here and there typical of a car that's driven. NO RUST ANYWHERE! Original panels are all metal! Bring your magnet!
I highly doubt you'll find another TA in this price range with so much going for it. Matching numbers, showroom mechanical condition, beautiful paint on a no rust body, rustfree undercarriage, clean original interior, upgraded snowflakes, nicely detailed, etc etc. Because this car is such a joy to drive, mileage will increase the longer I have the keys to this car, so come and get it before I decide to make it my personal toy.
