1965 Ford Mustang 2+2 Fastback:
Powered by a great running 289 1964 engine producing 271 HP.
This motor was rebuilt and has just been put back in the car now. I do have the receipt that does go with the car showing what was done to the motor including Shelby 306 cam and other specifications and work performed.
Transmission is a top loader 4 speed surrounded by a correct full console with original shifter.
It is equipped with headers, dual exhaust with GT tips, GT fog lamps, GT emblems, Rally pack gauges, 5 rally rims all surrounded by red line tires, mustang AM FM cassette radio, and fold down rear seat.
The paint and body was completely restored also in that 2008 time frame. There is pictures of the restoration showing this solid fastback stripped down to bare metal and then brought back to life. It has a laser straight body and the light blue metallic paint has a excellent shine. The exterior body is also very solid and has little to no imperfections that I can see on the paint and body.
The floors, frame, and trunk all appear to be very solid thru ought. The floor pans have had new pans installed during its restoration.
The bumpers, chrome, and stainless was also completely restored along with all the new rubbers and felts. The black pony interior looks great with silver blue inserts in the seats that really sets it off.
Mechanically this awesome fastback runs and drives great down the road and is ready to jump in and drive to your next classic car event!
When Decoding this car I found it funny that I purchased this car from the same town that the car was delivered to new according to its DSO!
