 Vehicle Description
We have a Rare, no expense spared, ground up restored 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS that features a numbers matching 396/325hp V8 engine that is mated to a Turbo 400 automatic transmission. This sweet SS has a rare Front deluxe Strato Bench Seat, 2.73 12 bolt Posi Rear End, factory traction bar, deluxe Interior and restored to a high level. This Camaro had a ground up sub-frame off restoration done by Metal Works in Eugene Oregon done less than 100 miles ago and everything on this car looks amazing and is to factory specs. This Camaro was originally purchased from Larry Brown Chevrolet in Boise Idaho by Eldon Denny on 11/21/1967. Eldon had ordered this car with the deluxe interior including the front strato bench seat and column shift transmission due to needing room for his growing family and making it easier for his wife to drive. This Camaro has always been in the dry climate of Idaho and eastern Oregon and along with being well taken care since day one showed no signs of rust. The exterior body and paint of this car is gorgeous. The body was dipped and taken to bare metal and painted in the factory original color of ermine white. This was a high quality professionally applied paint and it shows. All body panels have excellent fit, gaps and alignment. Sighting down the sides is impressive, very straight with no waviness. The original front and rear bumpers have been re-chromed and look new. All of the emblems have been restored or replaced. The grille, headlight trim, tail lights and molding are in excellent condition. The original steel wheels and hub caps have been restored and look excellent. The new tires are a duplicate of the original Firestone tires. The drivetrain on this Camaro is top-notch and looks like new. The original 396/325hp engine has been professionally rebuilt along with the TH400 automatic transmission and the 12 bolt posi rear end. The motor performs superbly and the transmission shifts smooth. The interior is exceptional; the seats, door panels, carpet, headliner and dash are all gorgeous and look like new. All of the brightwork, knobs, handles, window cranks and swithces are all excellent. The weather seals, window rubber and window felts are new. The lights, heater fan and wipers operate as intended. the side windows roll up and down smoothly. The interior has been restored back to its original appearance and it is very appealing.
