This is a museum quality 1957 Chevrolet Nomad. The restoration was documented with pictures and videos. Some noteworthy awards include a AACA 1st Place, AACA Chairman's Cup, PPG Best Paint & Finish, SuperChevy 1st Place, and numerous others. It was also selected by The Danbury Mint and used to create their 1957 Chevrolet Nomad Diecast model. Teldon International Calendars also used a photo of this car in their Fins and Chrome calendar and numerous other automotive calendars. This car is powered by a 283 c.i. 4 barrel V8 with a powerglide transmission. It has the factory radio, clock, and power steering. All of the original date coded glass was used in the restoration. The body and paint work was performed by a very talented resource. The 'gas hammer welding technique' was used for the metal work. This body and paint man's work and talent is described in an automotive body restoration book. This car is as straight as they get. The body panels are gapped to perfection.
