 Vehicle Description
In 1967, all Shelby models came equipped with the Mustang Deluxe Interior that featured Special Upholstery and Molded Seatbacks, Fold-Down Rear Seat, Brushed Aluminum Insets and Door Trim Panels.

Fiberglass Hood and Body Panels were used to Differentiate Shelby models from Standard Mustang Fastbacks and GT Models.

The GT500 came with a modified version of Ford's 428ci Police Interceptor V-8 Engine. The Powerful Engine came with two Holley Carburetors and an Aluminum Intake Manifold. An Oval Cobra finned Air Cleaner matched the Cobra finned Valve Covers. In 1967, the Shelby GT500 was the only Mustang model to come equipped with the 428 Engine.
