If youre in the market for a lid-free pro-touring Camaro, they dont get much better than this freshly restored 69. Born with less engine and a coat of Fathom Green, this 1969 Camaro convertible has been transformed into one awesome street machine. The 1969 body remains in its original proportions with all panels massaged to better-than-new condition and fitment. A glossy coat of bright yellow paint tops that body work accented by matte black factory-style stripes. A badge-less SS grille, functional ZL2-style hood, and D80 spoiler were all pulled from the GM parts bin to complete the exterior. Under the hood, a GM Performance 502cid V8 lives in the custom sub frame. Dressed as a stock piece with factory style chrome valve covers and stock-appearing decals, the motor hosts a Holley 4-barrel, bowtie intake, aluminum heads and cast iron exhausts manifolds. Behind the 502, a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission channels power to a smooth and painted 9-inch rear end. Up front, a tubular sub frame with control arms, coilovers and a rack and pinion power steering setup keep the front end planted. Out back, a 4-link with a panhard bar, rear sway bar and coilovers keeps the rear in place. Tubular sub frame connectors tie the ends together. Brakes are power four-wheel discs. At the corners, Billet Specialties wheels are wrapped in General rubber. Between the doors, a fully custom leather and suede interior plays on the original Camaro look. Seats and door panels feature a custom design while the factory dash retains all stock pieces while gaining an Alpine head unit. From the Fisher rocker panel trim to the black cloth top, every piece looks showroom clean.
