A note from the previous owner:
TRUE 1969 RALLY SPORT X/33 Z/28 CAMARO BUILT IN LATE DECEMBER 1968 ORIGINALLY CORTEZ SILVER WITH BLACK STRIPES 69/69 CODE WITH FACTORY DELUXE INTERIOR, ALL GAUGES WORK, INCLUDING LOW FUEL WARNING LIGHT, DOOR BUZZER AND AM RADIO STILL WORKS. THE CLOCK IS STILL IN WORKING CONDITION. THE POWER PLANT IS A 302 CHEVY WITH CE REPLACEMENT MOTOR WITH CE CODE (CE4N31373) ON FRONT OF BLOCK PAD AND THE REAR BLOCK NUMBER IS (3970010) AND BUILD DATE OF (J-2-3) THERE IS A PAPER DEALER TAG FOR 1974 INCLUDED, SO THIS POSSIBLY COULD HAVE BEEN WHEN THE MOTOR WAS REPLACED, BUT I HAVE NO PROOF OF THAT BEING THE CASE, JUST SPECULATING ,IT HAS A MATCHING NUMBERS AND RARE VIN CODED TO CAR M-22 ROCK CRUSHER TRANSMISSION (P9T17C) AND BV CODED 4:10 MATCHING REAR END WITH BUILD DATE (BV1226G) AS RECORDED ON THE PROTECTOR PLATE WHICH IS INCLUDED IN SALE, IT ALSO HAS THE ORIGINAL KEY KNOCKOUT FOR TRUNK. THIS CAR HAS 69,900 MILES AND BELIEVED TO BE TRUE ORIGINAL MILEAGE CANNOT BE POSITIVE ABOUT IT BUT, THERE ARE STATE INSPECTION RECEIPTS TO DOCUMENT IT TO 65,637 MILES IN 1977. WHEN I BOUGHT THE CAR A LITTLE OVER A YEAR AGO IT HAD 67,800 MILES. IT UNDER WENT AN EXTENSIVE RESTORATION IN THE EARLY 1990'S AND WAS STORED IN A ENCLOSED BUILDING FOR AROUND 14 YEARS WITH LITTLE OR NO MILES DRIVEN. THERE ARE LOTS OF RECEIPTS THAT SHOW THERE WAS BETWEEN $30,000 AND $40,000 SPENT ON THIS BEAUTIFUL LOW MILEAGE CAR. I HAVE RECENTLY REPLACED THE GAS TANK AND REBUILT THE CARB, WHICH IS A ORIGINAL DZ CARB WITH 891 BUILD DATE WHICH IS BELIEVED TO BE ORIGINAL TO CAR. THE ALTERNATOR, DISTRIBUTOR AND STARTER BELIEVED TO BE ORIGINAL DATE CODED TO CAR AND POSSIBLY THE WATER PUMP, THE NUMBERS ARE HARD TO READ. A NEW DELCO MORAINE BRAKE BOOSTER AND MASTER CYLINDER WERE INSTALLED RECENTLY, THE ORIGINAL BRAKE BOOSTER INCLUDED IN SALE. THE PAINT IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL TO BE 15 YEARS OLD AND I WOULD CONSIDER IT EXTREMELY NICE DRIVER QUALITY. IT HAS A FEW CHIPS DUE TO DRIVING IT, BUT OVERALL IT IS BEAUTIFUL. I RECENTLY SHOWED IT LOCALLY AND IT TOOK TOP OF ITS CLASS AND BEST OF SHOW.. IT DRIVES GREAT, STOPS GREAT AND HANDLES GREAT ITS A PLEASURE TO DRIVE...
