This 1953 Buick Skylark is even more amazing today than when it rolled off the assembly line in 1953. The body is smooth with sculpted factory sheet metal and covered with glossy smooth white paint. The plentiful trim is all in excellent condition. The chrome has a clear deep reflection that is simply world-class. The black top is fresh and works properly, and is nicely capped by a red boot. The factory-correct red fender wells are beautiful. Underneath this classic Skylark, you will see clean solid perfection with pans finished in the correct red oxide. The interior is excellent as well, with minor creasing on the driver''s seat typical of every Skylark. The carpet, door panels, and passenger''s areas are in wonderful condition. The dash is handsomely finished to complement the interior. The mechanicals are restored and working correctly, including the power steering and power brake systems. The suspension has correct components -- some of which are unique to the Skylark -- and works properly. This rare piece of American history is available and will make an excellent addition to any collection.
