I have a 1969 Mustang Fastback that needs restored. It was a 302 car with Automatic trans, power steering, power disc brakes, air conditioning, tinted glass and sports appearance group with tape stripe according the Marti Report. The front suspension was rebuilt sometime back. Rear brake drums, shoes and wheel cylinders are new. The windshield is also brand new and the BF Goodrich radial TA tires are 1/2 tread or better. Three out of the four Styled Steel Wheels are in very good condition. The chrome on the forth wheel is bad. Typical Midwest Mustang rust (floors, bottom of 1/4 panels, trunk drop offs, torque boxes, bottom of fenders) basically the outside of the car needs re-skinned if that's a proper term. The doors look pretty good, maybe a patch or two on the bottom front corner. If you don't like rust repair this is not the car for you. Just trying to be honest. The engine compartment is in pretty good shape though. No rust showing on the entire front frame rail and no rust in the shock towers. One rear frame rail looks good and the other is swelled by the leaf spring mount. Most of the rust is sheetmetal. The basic structure of the car is still good. I believe I have all of the front end pieces plus a bunch of extras. No engine in the car though I'm sure I can come up with a core 302 or 351W for a modest fee. This was a running driving car before the engine was taken out (weren't they all?)
