| Vehicle Description |
| This central oregon find was restored with the intent of doing the Mexican Road Race (LaCarreraPanamericana) and stopped short of the heavy modifications involved so that the originality of the car was not altered. Recently the Top End was re-manufactured to replace a radical Cam/valving for a very proper Cam, lifters, pushrods and rockers and hardened valve seats. Many parts were added to produce a strong original driver. Added were 15 inch wheels and radials (original 14 inch wheels available with car). The radio was restored and FM Stereo was added with dial control for rear package tray speakers and Input for one Mp-3 player and one HiWay Hi-Fi record player. The Hi-Fi record player was re-manufactured from a very good original. A Tachometer was fabricated to replace the center clock int the instrument cluster and a NOS Benrus self winding Clock for the steering wheel was added (an original Chrysler 1957 Option). All the gauges were re-manufactured by J C Auto. Some Rust (non-structural) was found in the rockers and was repaired, stop-rust prepared throughout the lower body, and the lower body was repainted. The 300C was prepared with the intention of being a DRIVER and is not a "show car". But would show very well as a surviver and a solid dependable driver. Show if you like and / or drive anywhere a very strong #2 example. Milage is unknown, but speedo was unaltered. |
