DESCRIPTION

For Sale, Why so inexpensive? PLEASE READ THE WHOLE AD.1969 Chevelle /Malibu, "RESTO MOD".
Just finishing a 2 year restoration, this car was in storage for 25 years. The best equipment has been put into this frame up restore, from the 383 cu.in.460 HP engine, with serpentine belt system, alum radiator and duel electric fans, Mallory ign, headers, engine was built by Skip White Racing.(Go to this site) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRHfn_4CAWw I have a 40 page book with all of the parts that were put into the engine, has the balance of the warranty on it. 383cu.in/460hp, (dyno) 400 Trans, was all done by the renowned transmission builder #1 transmission of Fort Lauderdale, the rear : 12 bolt posi. 4:11 gears. The body was all taken down, inspected, then primer sealed and block sanded many times to give it this super straight look, when I removed the paint I only found three small rust spots, #1 under the weather stripping in the trunk and #2 a small one on the hood center line, both about the size of a nail head and then the rear window bottom passenger side was fixed. (I have photos of the restore,) The chrome moldings / emblems were removed ,filled with Dura glass, to give it this sweet look. Painted with base coat clear coat, primer sealed, blocked sanded, 4 coats of "viper red" base coat ,4 coats of clear, all blocked sanded with 1000,1500, then 2000 , Then Yenko Stripes Installed (can be removed if you do not like them) black interior changed to parchment color, new carpet ,cool sound system.( I prefer listening to the exhaust) Power Steering, tilt wheel, Power disc front brakes, drum rear,15 " rally wheels, Like new tires, The previous owner gave me over $18,000 of receipts, and this does not include the money I put into it additionally, over the past 2 years. Another $30,000 for a total of over $48,000 PLUS MY LABOR, at least a 1,000 hours over , Approximately 2 years to do it,So as you can see I have at least $70,000 to $75,000 in the car(thats only figuring $30 per hour on labor) But it is done right; The speedometer shows 34,014, I can''t verify that it is original mileage, but after inspecting the car during the restoration, and 25 years in storage, (per the previous owner) I believe that it could be.
It was a great car to start with (Just 4 previous bad paint jobs) The panels are so straight now, the viper red is like glass, interior so cool, sound from the custom exhaust just so old school, really fast but not radical. OK So Here Is The Deal:I have ton of money in this car, I built it with the idea that it was going to be my last restoration (I am 69 now) and I wanted a really nice car that was different, fast, but not radical, and dependable, I built it with the notion that I would never sell it, so I did not care that I put way to much time and money in my RESTO-MOD. OK let me get to the point!
In 1969 I had a Camaro New, I always regretted selling it, and about 25 years ago I tried finding it, NO LUCK then. Gave up. About 2 months ago I got an email from someone asking if I were interested in THAT CAR, Yes my car from 47 years ago, I matched up the VIN it is the car. I would love to buy it back, but I need to sell something to buy it , my Chevelle. (Also have a 64 vette coupe for sale) (Never thought I would) I would have not even considered selling it for any amount. Now someone can get this beautiful RESTO MOD 69 that you could not build for $75,000 So make me an offer and you will not be disappointed, and if it were not for the circumstances, I would I sell it ,but I want my original Camaro back! Your Gain, My loss (well not really if I get my original Camaro back) The Chevelle and the Vette are located in SE Florida, ASKING $39,000 OBO. BUT I REALLY WANT MY ORIGINAL CAMARO BACK SO MAKE ME AN OFFERThanks Jim 954-494-3100
