 Vehicle Description
For your consideration is this super clean, (2) Owner, 1979 Pontiac Trans Am that has recently been treated to an extremely nice driver quality restoration. Included with this T/A is the Original Build Sheet, Owners Manual, and PHS documentation.

The Cameo White Exterior, Gold Graphics Package, and Deluxe Camel/Tan Interior with deluxe seat belts, is as nice in person as it shows in the photos. The numbers matching 403 L80 6.6 Liter engine was rebuilt and received an upgraded cam, oil pump, and head porting job while it was out. The engine maintains excellent temperatures and oil pressure and runs fantastic, she smokes the tires with ease! Make no mistake, this is NOT your typical 403 engine!
The original numbers matching HydraMatic 3-Speed (TH350) Automatic Transmission shifts solid through all the gears with no slipping or unusual noises and was upgraded with shift kit and 1800 stall converter that provides strong, crisp shift points and an excellent launch!.
The original GU2 2.73:1 Safe-T-Track Positraction rear end provides excellent street and highway performance.
The factory exhaust manifolds are mated to a cat-back dual exhaust system with Flow Master 40 series mufflers that sound great and exit the factory exhaust tips. A very nice rumble!
The factory correct Cameo White base coat/clear coat paint job is a very nice 5 foot paint job that won’t get you kicked out of your favorite car show or cruise-in. It was completed with the factory correct Gold decals supplied by Phoenix Graphics; The trunk is in very nice condition with the original floor mat and sound deadener. Overall a very nice clean bold body that grabs your attention! The factory Camel Deluxe Interior is in great condition as you can see in the photos and shows very well.
This T/A came factory equipped with the WS7 (RPO WS7) suspension package. The suspension recently received new shocks on all four corners, and all 6 body bushings (including the radiator support bushings) were replaced with PST (Performance Suspension Technology) polyurethane bushings that feel great.
The entire brake system on this T/A is in very good condition with new pads and shoes all the way around, the front rotors are also newer.
The restored factory original 8" snowflake wheels are wrapped with BF Goodrich P255/60R15 Radial T/A's.
The lights, turn signals, emergency flashers, stereo, dome/courtesy lights, glove box light, and gauges work as they should. The clock second hand moves but the clock does not keep accurate time, and the horn needs attention. The remote trunk release, trunk light, defroster, heater, power windows, and power locks, and windshield wipers all appear to be in good working order. The headlamps, trunk light, tail lights and marker lamps were all replaced during the restoration and are bright and clear.
The Delco AM/FM/Cassette stereo was sent out and rebuilt with an upgraded MP3/IPod player option, you can also use it to plug in your portable CD player.
The factory equipped A/C system is complete and appears to be in good working condition, it should only need a charge at this point to get it blowing cold again.

If you’ve been in the market for a nice looking '79 Trans Am with a great bold color combination this one certainly deserves your consideration. Overall I think you'd be hard pressed to restore a T/A to this level for the price I'm asking for this one. It's not a trailer queen, but a very, very nice T/A that you can drive to weekend shows and cruises and take pride in owning and driving. All this cool T/A needs now is a Pontiac Enthusiast with a heavy right foot to give it a good home.

I have many more photos and details available, as well as a video of the car, please email me for additional links and information.
