Wanting tradition, but with a passion for speed, he contacted Lamar Walden Automotive Inc. and had them build him a real 409, with a twist. He had the engine stroked to a 492 CI, had it balanced and blue printed, added a 4 bolt main, forged comp cam, two center feed 760 Holly Carburetors and a Joe Hunt Ignition.WOW talk about perfection in a BIG BLOCK The massive power of the 492 is driven through a Ford 9 inch rear end, which is supported with a 4 link set up with coil overs.
