| Vehicle Description |
| You are looking at a totally custom lead sled 1950 Buick Special Sedanette Fastball that has undergone TONS of custom work. The car has been nosed and decked, all emblems have been removed as well as the door handles, the rear fenders have been molded, lights frenched, door poppers installed...... The list goes on and on! The exterior is finished in beautiful PPG Purple Velvet Bright and Bold Series 51467. The paint has a great shine to it, with no imperfections. Work done to the outside of the car, includes having the head lights and antenna Frenched and the taillights enlarged, extended and frenched. The hood, deck, door handles and emblems have been shaved. The lines of the car were smoothed out with all of this work, giving the car a clean, sleek look. Both front and rear bumpers and the grill have been recently re-chromed and are in very good condition with no major pitting to be found. The seams are welded and lake pipes are welded into pods on the fenders, although not operational. Check out the dummy spots. The current mileage shows 60851 and the VIN number is 45724201. And this car has a mileage exempt Iowa title. The Wheels are reversed Buick 15 inch deep dish steel wheels wrapped in Bias Ply Wide White G78s. Totally old school that set this car off. The car would look equally as nice with a set of 18" Torque Thrust Wheels, your option. The customization did not stop with the exterior. The interior and trim is completely new and painted to match the body. It is White rolled and pleated seats. The dash was kept mostly stock and looks great. There is a AM/FM Cassette Player in the glove box to retain the stock dash. This car has a 3 speed on the tree transmission with a strong clutch that shifts smoothly. All the White vinyl looks great as well as the headliner and the carpet which is also newer. All the door panels are finished in the same styled White vinyl which looks very good. On the dash is an added Volt Meter. Did you see the "8 Ball" Shifter Knob? Under the hood, there is a Buick 248 Straight Eight that runs great. Under the hood is a new 12 Volt "Painless" wiring system with alternator, Chet Hubert 280 Cam, Buick Dual Carb Manifold with 2 Barrel, Chrome and aluminum engine accessories. The engine bay is nice and clean and highly detailed. It has a Stock Buick Chassis with front 2 1/2 drop spindles and the rear has Monte Carlo coil springs with tube shocks. There is no rot or rust repair that we have found. The trunk has a new floor which is covered in black felt. On the road, this "Old School" lead sled drives as nice as it looks. The motor starts with ease and has plenty of power to boost. The car has dual exhaust exiting through a pair of "Cherry Bombs" that let everyone know youre coming or going! The car gets thumbs up from men, women and children and is a shoe in for a trophy at your next car show. GET OUT AND DRIVE! |
