The restoration of this once iconic muscle car began in the winter of 2002. After having the car completely stripped to bare metal this car was then taken for professional replacement of all bad metal. A custom paint job followed with bright red paint, trimmed with high gloss black paint for NASA HOOD and lower accent stripe. The front and rear suspension was replaced along with a rebuilt 429 engine. The 429 was updated with roller rockers and COMP CAM, Edlebrock preformer intake manifold, DOVE RACING HEADS and MSD ignition system. The transmission was professionally rebuilt with a Neil Chance torque converter, good for 600 HP. The rear end is a nine inch and appears to have a highway rear end (275-325). After having a complete new interior installed the car appraised for $44500.00 and is insured for that amount. There are too many new parts for space allotted. Lots of new chrome.
