Overall the paint and scheme on this Austin Mini presents well. Bubbling and discoloration was found in spots but is otherwise in good shape. Chrome on front bumper is chipped in two places with some rust on one of the chipped areas. Stainless around passenger rear window is showing some cracking. All other stainless and chrome unless noted is in good shape. Drivers side taillight lens shows a bit of scuffing, all other lights and lenses are in good order. Glass all around is free from cracks, some scuffing can be seen on the driver and passenger front sliding windows.
Interior overall is good with no tears or stains anywhere. Dash is in good shape with no damage.
Owner upgraded to front disc brakes and also recently replaced the distributor. Car starts easily and idles well once warm, the engine has plenty of power to move this small car along. Car handles and stops well and is an all round very fun car to drive. Can smell exhaust when not in motion, could use some more sealing at the firewall. When engine is hot it will sometimes diesel when ignition is shut off for a second or two. Fuel gauge is not working but all other gauges are working as they should
This 1960 Austin Mini presents well and is a total blast to drive it certainly is a head turner, while out for my test drive I had several people pointing and waving.
