This is an original 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 door hardtop. It has not been restored, nor does it need restoring. Most of the paint on the car is original and very good condition, the chrome, weather stripping, emblems, moldings, bumpers, and the complete interior is original. It has been garage kept all its life. For the past 29 years it has been in the same garage. The engine is original, as is the transmission, and rear end. The odometer reads 41,000 miles and thats whats on the car from 1956 til now. The car runs and drives just the General Motors designed it too. It is about as close to going back to 1956 as you can get. They can only be original once. No power steering or power brakes, just a 265 V8 and automatic.
