 Vehicle Description
For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a beautiful, classic 1941 Studebaker Champion 2-dr street rod. If you are looking for a different type of street rod with character that will be hard matched at cruise night, this Studebaker is a good choice. The car is painted in a metallic red which accentuates the body lines. Under the hood is a 350 CID V8 engine and a turbo 350 automatic transmission. Backing this is an 8" Ford rear-end. There are just 200 miles since this build was complete and better yet, just 44,851 actual miles on the car itself! Needless to say, it was a very solid foundation for a quality street rod build. Options include: AC, AM/FM radio, CD player, power brakes, tilt wheel, cloth interior, radial tires, and aluminum/alloy wheels. This wonderful Studebaker has been in the same family since the early 60s. The original engine finally exhausted in 1968. At this point it was parked in a dry shed for nearly 35 years. The car stayed comfortably tucked away until the lengthy build process of turning it into a street rod began. The suspension is a Fatman with a Mustang II front end with disc brakes. The frame was thoroughly cleaned and undercoated to prevent rust. Other new components include: GT steering wheel, billet dress up kit, Southern air conditioning, re-chromed bumpers, Edelbrock cam, intake and carburetor, customer aluminum radiator, electric fan, 12v conversion, and Eagle alloy rims. There has been no expense spared here. This car makes for a great cruiser, show car, or collector piece. To view the car in greater detail, including an HD video of the car running and driving, visit or our St. Louis showroom. For more information call 618-271-3000.
