1953 Lincoln Capri Convertible. 1 of 272 vehicles produced in 1953. This vehicle was purchased new in Pennsylvania and has had 3 owners, has been in good storage with restored vehicles since the early 1980s. It was originally a cream color and some time in its life, was stored outside. The floors in the trunk and inside the passenger compartment are very solid as is the complete left side of the car. There is some rust in the right quarter panel behind the wheel opening and a similar spot in the right rocker panel. Both spots have compromised the inner panel. The right door also has a small amount of rust. The remainder of the car is very solid, complete and very restorable. The bumpers are rusty and the pot metal slightly pitted. The engine ran when put away and turns free.
All in all this is a very sought after and desirable car to restore.
