 Vehicle Description
Looks and Drives Great! We toured hundeds of miles in the Carolina mountains in December, then she got a fresh paint job in original color in January 2013.

The year 1939 was the final year of production for the luxury Lincoln Model K although one final K was built for President Roosevelt in 1942. Most model Ks had standard factory Phaeton coachwork. With a V12 engine giving around 120 brake horse power (bhp) the cars sold well despite the difficult depression-affected luxury car market. There were only 58 examples of the 7-passenger Limousine produced, and was the most popular body-style on the Lincoln Model K for 1939. The odometer shows just 36,000 original miles.

The engine is a 67-degree L-head V12 that displaces 414 cubic-inches and produces 150 hp. There is a Stromberg Downdraft 2-barrel carburetor, three-speed manual gearbox, and four-wheel vacuum assisted drum brakes.

This grand automobile is officially designated as a Classic by the Classic Car Club of America. The vehicle identification number is K9531 (as stamped on the crankcase and the vehicle ID plate), the model number is 407-B and the serial number is 10-102. The list price in 1939 was $5100. It is a 4 door 7 passenger limousine with wind-down privacy window, 2 side-mount tires and 145 wheelbase.

An extremely RARE car, not a single one like it listed on the internet or in the membership directories of AACA, CCCA or the Lincoln Owners Club.
