For sale in our St. Louis showroom is an absolutely stunning 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle convertible. This is not your grandfathers Chevelle. This car has undergone an extensive professional nut and bolt frame off restoration. Every piece of this car has been either replaced, refinished, or customized. The Chevelle is finished in a glossy coat of Viper Graphite paint which has been meticulously wet sanded and polished to the point of a mirror-like finish. To give a sinister look, the bumpers, headlight surrounds, and grill are all black. This ride sits on a gorgeous set of staggered 20 inch Forgeline wheels with chrome lip. The rear has an extra deep dish with a 335mm footprint. Visible beyond the spokes are 6 piston front and 4 piston rear Willwood drilled and slotted disc brakes. Underneath the car looks just as clean as the top. The chassis, suspension, and driveline are painted with more care than is taken on the body of some cars. The exhaust has been polished so much that you could do your hair in the mirror finished mufflers. The heart of this beast is what will really impress: an all aluminum 540 CID V8 which is fed by twin turbos. With a mild tune pushing 6 pounds of boost, this set up will put 865 horsepower to the rear wheels. Backing the power plant is a TKO 600 5 speed manual transmission and a 9" rear end with 3:73 gears. The power train could easily crank out a few hundred more ponies with a more aggressive tune. Inside is a fully customized leather interior with bespoke dash, console, door panels, and front and rear bucket seats. There is one thing this car is short on: switches. The lights, climate control, power windows, and even the ignition are controlled by a touch screen in the center console. This is a show car that will gather looks from everyone around.
