In a world filled with Chevrolet Chevettes and Ford Pintos, the 1980 Corvette was an anachronism... For the 1980 model year, Chevrolet produced approximately 40,614 Covettes. This model was offered only as a coupe as the convertible was discontinued after 1975. Standard and Optional equipment were fairly limited, but Corvette followed the unwritten two-seater "sports-car" code that such roadsters adn coupes were built for performance not the comfort of having a cup holder.
The 80's Corvette had a top speed of 125mph but because of federal mandates, the speedometer was changed to 85mph. The car went from 0-60 in 7.6 seconds!
This American Classic has a mere 38,735 miles on it and is still in great condition. This car is equipped with a rebuilt 350 V8 engine with an automatic transmission, Holley 4 barrell carburator small cam shaft, Aluminum Intake, Chrome Air Cleaners, and Edel Brock Valve Covers. Some other options are the Dual Exhaust and BF Goodrich T/A Tires (p255/60/R15).
The exterior is a beautiful deep blue and had been repainted only once. The interior is soft blue leather that is in good condition!
