| Vehicle Description |
| MotoeXotica is excited to bring you this one of a kind 1981 Cadillac Seville Prototype with electric rumble seat and 13,000 original miles. This is a one owner car that cost over $100,000.00 to build; molds, jigs, templates, dies, etc. Twenty seven hand made fiberglass parts went into this prototype, plus all other parts mentioned are all hand crafted. The Cadillac Seville was selected as the prototype because of the natural lines lent themselves well to conversion into a classic design automobile. The prototype was built to be a high end limited production car with an agreement between the two builders, and an investor with $500,000.00 to set up production after the prototype was finished. Unfortunately, the investor passed away, funds couldnt be raised, and no other cars were built. Custom features designed and hand made: extended hood and grill, stainless steel front bumper extension, hood louvers, frenched headlights with chrome bezyls, front pedestal turn lights, hand formed chrome side trim, upholstered carriage top with matching side window inserts trimmed off with stainless steel snaps and moldings, rear plastic window unzips and allow conversation from rumble seat to inside passengers, electrically operated rumble seat with safety belts, storage compartments, courtesy lights etc, pedestal mounted tail lights, a functional continental mount tire upholstered to match top, a rear stainless steel bumper extension incasing continental wheel, custom two tone paint job - black and a hand blended color called "Catherine Red." Cadillac factory options: 6.0 liter V8, power seats, windows, mirrors, door locks, antenna, steering and brakes. Leather interior, cruise control, floor mats, AM/FM radio/cassette player, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, tinted windows, etc. All gauges, lights and accessories are in good working order. The lipstick red leather interior is in excellent condition showing no wear or rips in the front bucket seats, rear bench seat or the door panels. Also in excellent condition is the red cloth headliner and the plastic covered red carpet flooring. The entire interior is very clean, as is the engine compartment. The paint is still in fantastic condition. I only found one very minor chip in the paint on the trunk lid. The power rumble seat is also in red leather in great condition. It is powered open and closed by a switch in the glove compartment. The chrome trim all looks great with a few very minor imperfections. The chrome bumpers are very bright and shiny, only a few almost unnoticeable minor surface scratches on the front one. The chrome wire spoke hub caps look as good as they did when they left the factory and are wrapped in P205/75 R15 M+S White Wall Radials with lots of life left. The full sized spare has never been used. The underside has some very minor surface rust in only a couple of very small places. The black ragtop roof looks new. Included are the original owners manual, original bill of sale, factory build sheet, and all the original brochures. Pictures of the original car, before conversion, and a history of the conversion company are also included. The VIN is 1G6AS6998BE704619 and this car is being sold on a clear Florida title dated 1981. This car has only 13,727 actual miles. GET OUT AND DRIVE! |
