1955 Dodge H-Series (2-ton) grain truck

Shagrat sent us this great picture of his latest Rusty Ride photo find. A 1955 Dodge H-Series (2-ton) grain truck, saved from the crusher! With just 8900 original miles, this farm truck sat in a barn from the early 70's until recently, when someone bought it and removed the engine (factory 331 Hemi).

i would have never thought to look for a Hemi under the hood of one of these types of trucks, even with the V8 badge on the hood.

Mopar allso made a lot of sixs. Were they the last of the big three to have a flat head six?I had a lot of the later slant sixs.Really a good motor.Only v-8 mopar I have owned was a new 69 383 RoadRunner. It was good allso.
