1980 Terry Bass Boat, Motor and Trailer once owned by Dale Earnhardt
This boat was purchased by the current owner from Dale Earnhardt March of 1984 at Lake Norman, NC. There is full documentation of purchase from the Wildlife Resources Commission.
Known as "the Intimidator", Dale Earnhardt won seven NASCAR Cup Championships and is generally acknowledged as the greatest stock car driver of all time.
Boat: Terry (no longer in business)
Motor: Evinrude Sport, 140 horsepower
Boat is 17 feet long, 7.5 feet wide and 3.5 feet high
Boat Hull is Fiberglass
Boat is restored to showroom condition with new cables, wiring and as needed instrumentation.
The Motor runs well due to a $3,500 overhaul; slow leak of hydraulic fluid in power trim system.
Trailer is newly painted with all new wheels and tires, lights, wiring, jack stand, winch and carpeted docking boards.

Boat appeared 3/6/13 in the thatsracin.com blog of the Charlotte Observer. The photo of Earnhardt in the boat was from a 2007 newspaper insert advertising the debut of the movie "Dale", in which the stern of the boat briefly appears in a scene where Dale is being towed on an inner tube.
