i just bought a 1962 chevy impala 2 door, it has a 4 speed manual transmission, how can i find out what model it is, n if it's a factory manual? someone told me it was a sports coupe. vin# 21847b177095.......... and also ran the engine code, and says engine is from a 1974 or 1980 camaro, 305 or 350 idk.. engine suffix code is cmj.... can someone help me? whole engine code is,15b445961 k1015cmj... any help would be nice. like if it's from a 1974? or from a 1980? or if it's a 305? or 350?? can respond on here, or can email me with any advice, [email protected]...... thnk u.

2= chev 1847 =2drht-sport coupe-5 pass b = baltimore assembly plant.the 5 onin front of the cmj shoud be the year the engine was made . if the casting #on the block between drivers side head and trans ends in 010 it is a 350cid 75 or 76 2barrel carb.this carb had a roundtop where it meets air cleaner. the 305had a odd shaped inlet.
