Not much of a vintage car buyer, what would a 66 mustang 2+2 notchback 289 w/auto trans going price
A older friend of mine wants to sell me his 1966 Mustang to me for $7,000, but I'm a little hesitant. Is this a good buy? It's descriptors are below:

1966 Ford Mustang Notchback 2+2
289 V-8
Great condition
No Rust; garage kept, but repainted in 1993
Automatic Transmission
Roughly 38,000 original miles
Interior looks to be in great shape
Front Bucket seats

Sounds like a good deal to me....

Don't let your friend see this, but NADA has the following pricing:

Low Retail - $10,900
Average Retail - $20,400
High Retail - $32,200
