Im looking to put a new chassis under a truck. I needed the length of an old 53 pick up chassis so I can buy a new chassis with disk brakes power steering and so on. I've always loved my first truck. It was a 53 stepside. After all the work though it just never felt really good when it came to handling so I want to put a new chassis under a old body. So any measurements would help, so I can determine what year to buy. Thanks
