I recently purchased a '77 Granada to use the front clip for my '51 Ford Custom. The guy who sold it to me told me it was a Mustang II clilp which will fit but I have since been told that it is not a Mustang II clip. Can anyone confirm this one way or the other?

The fenders, hood , bumper and grill can be reassembled on a welded tubular (1") frame and attached to the orignial 51 Ford. I suggest you buy an 8-cylinder 83 to 88 T-bird or Cougar, and attach the 51 nose and rear clip onto it. Lots easier, and you have a car with ball joints and not king pins, and disk brakes in case you want to stop.

NO THE GRANADA TS A UNIBODY CAR THE MUSTANG ll IS ALSO . A TORINO OR LTDll WOULD BE A BETTER TRY. NOVA ,CAMARO FIREBIRD ARETHE MOST COMMON FRAMES USED.BEST TO START WITH A GOOD RULER AND A LOT MORE PATIENCE.
