HOW DO YOU TELL A REAL 1969 FORD MUSTANG MACH 1

i would look for a build sheet under seat bottoms or floor mats basicly the car has a different speedometer and trim than a fastback mustang .wheels in picture look like one of many option used on mach1.

After 40+ yrs build sheets can be difficult to find (provided they were placed in the car - not all were) and often unreadable when found. In that case comparison of all ser # locations, buck tag, component tags, cast/date #s & construction differences is your best solution. This usually means a lot of research. Good luck.
