Hello, I'm trying to hunt down my family's 1940 Ford Delux that we owned when I was a child. My husband and I are searching for our first rod and I would LOVE to have this car back! My Dad was able to locate it in the late 90's in Covington OH, but the owner wasn't ready to part with it. Unfortunately my father passed away in 2001 and my Mother doesn't recall his name (though I'm hoping she'll take a drive with me to Covington OH and see if she remembers anything). I was able to locate the gentleman we sold it to in the late 80's, and he doesn't recall who he had sold it to, and had no paperwork on it. I recently found the registration when my parents bought it in 1977. It has the manufacturers serial # and the cert title # on it, but the DMV said they couldn't help track it. So where do I turn? If anyone has suggestions or has been thru this - please give this girl some advice! All help is much appreciated!! THANKS! Jill
